2027 Total Solar Eclipse Expedition | Spain
Stand inside the Moon’s shadow and witness one of the most extraordinary natural events on Earth.
Register InterestThis is a small group expedition. Only 4 places available in total.
2 August 2027 will be unlike any other day.
In the late afternoon, the Sun will begin to dim. Shadows sharpen. The temperature drops. The world grows strangely quiet. And then — for over 4 minutes — daylight disappears completely.
The Moon perfectly covers the Sun, revealing the delicate solar corona — a sight so rare, most people will never experience it even once.
This is not something you simply watch. It is something you feel.
Over 4 minutes of totality with the Sun high in the sky.
The 2027 Eclipse — Key Facts
What You Will Actually See
- Twilight sky with visible stars and planets
- A 360° sunset on the horizon
- The Sun as a black disc with glowing corona
- Red solar prominences at the edge of the Moon
- A sudden drop in temperature
And then, just as suddenly, it ends — the “diamond ring” appears.

The Experience
This is a carefully designed small-group expedition — not a crowded tour.
With just four participants, we focus on preparation, clarity, and a calm experience.
Preparation matters.
Photographing the Eclipse
Photographing a total solar eclipse is one of the most rewarding — and challenging — experiences in astrophotography. The entire sequence unfolds in just a few minutes, and there is no opportunity to pause, adjust, or start again.
For that reason, our approach is built around preparation.
In the days leading up to the eclipse, we will guide you through your equipment, camera settings, and shooting workflow. This includes a full walkthrough of exposure sequences, filter handling, and timing.
We will also run a practical rehearsal on location, simulating the key moments of totality. This ensures that, when the eclipse begins, everything feels familiar and instinctive.
On the day itself, our priority shifts to the experience. Because totality is so brief, there is no time for in-depth troubleshooting or adjustments. By preparing in advance, you are free to either capture the moment with confidence — or simply step back and take it all in.
Many people spend the entire eclipse trying to capture it — and miss the experience itself. Our goal is to make sure you don’t.
This expedition is not limited to photographers. You are equally welcome to join us whether you plan to photograph the eclipse or simply witness it.
As your guides, we will also be capturing the eclipse ourselves. Following the expedition, we will provide you with a high-resolution image of the eclipse taken on the day — a lasting memory you can keep and revisit for years to come.
This image will be provided as a downloadable high-resolution JPEG shortly after the expedition, subject to successful imaging conditions on the day.
Why Southern Spain?
Southern Spain offers one of the best combinations of weather reliability and optimal viewing geometry in Europe.
Our Viewing Strategy
For an event lasting only minutes, preparation matters more than anything else.
We select a carefully chosen fixed location within the path of totality using long-term climate data and horizon analysis.
We prioritise stability, preparation, and a calm, controlled experience.
This ensures you are fully ready — not rushing, not stressed — when the moment arrives.
